When the unfortunate event of a cancer diagnosis occurs, often people don't know how they can help, now there is both a practical and comforting gift to give.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer earlier this year, local resident Sue Walsh had an idea which she has now turned into a reality.  After her diagnosis Sue wanted to find out as much as she could about her condition, but she discovered there was a lack of information all in one place.

After a friend gave her a gift basket of useful items to use whilst going through her treatment, this gave her the idea for the website and Sue has started up a Business (with no previous experience) which offers care gift packages to people suffering from cancer or illness and also those who are looking to reduce chemicals in their everyday life.

Sue stated "I only source my products from independent British wholesalers" which is good as all the small business are being supported by Sue's business. She also said "I avoid items packaged in BPA which is thought to have cancer causing properties."

Sue has thoughtfully composed several different packs which she hopes will make both practical and thoughtful gifts.  An example pack is the 'snuggle pack' which consists of a soft dressing gown, organic lavender shower gel, a wheat bag which can be heated/cooled which soothes aches and pains, a lavender scented candle and some sleep stones which are said to relax both the body and mind to help induce sleep.

These packs alongside the blog of Sues' journey, information and cancer advice can all be found on her website which will launch on December 1st 2014.
