A small dog has been rescued from a certain death at Esher train station after getting his lead caught inside a moving train.

As an owner of a Jack Russell I must commend this young man. Not many people would put themselves at risk to save someone else's dog. I'm sure you have made a friend for life.

Well done to the man. However, this makes me think we need to have emergency stop buttons not just on the inside of trains, but on the outside too, and on platforms.
