People behind St Helier hospital closure threat are not independent

I am concerned Conservative Councillor Suzanne Evans and Wimbledon MP Stephen Hammond have accused me of telling lies.
They claim the BSBV team are independent of Government and therefore has no connection with the Conservatives – they are incorrect.
BSBV is a state-funded organisation that is “independent” in name only (a cynical political device that fools nobody).
Andrew Landsey, the Secretary of State for Health, maintains oversight of the BSBV and determines its spending.
Also BSBV has no authority to over-rule Government policy – so it is not independent.
