Princes Road Surgery in Wimbledon
I only just heard about this proposed move this morning (GP surgery may shut in favour of housing, September 11) which is past the deadline for giving comments to the council.
Whilst I can understand the need for new premises to be found for the existing practice, the proposed move to Pelham Road from my point of view is totally unacceptable as it is simply just too far away.
If this merger does go ahead and the practice is moved to Pelham Road, then as I live in Raynes Park but work in Wimbledon, I would seriously consider changing my current doctor's practice to one that is situated closer to home.
