Dear Editor, I found the new Council leader Cllr Govindia' remarks on schools quite ridiculous where he suggests parents should , willy nilly, start trying to set up schools wherever they fancy.
Like in their street, their own back yard??

and the disabled bay never gets used, due to the Lady who requested it has since passed away.

It being Big Garden Birdwatch last weekend, I was ready with pen and paper to record the birds in my garden, when my neighbour rang to say that a pheasant was sitting on his trellis fence. Sure
enough, to my astonishment, a large, plump Cock Pheasant was perched in his garden ! Given that Hillier Road must be several miles from the nearest farmland, I can only guess that the magnificent
bird must have escaped from a local children's zoo,or was being kept as a pet. Unless they are now breeding on Wandsworth Common ?
