Footpath near Carshalton pond should be removed

The pond railing opposite the Greyhound pub have been awaiting repair for months and the temporary ones have been pushed over.

This is a vulnerable spot that would be helped if the footpath skirting the wall opposite the railing was removed. One rarely sees anyone using it as people go through the gardens behind the wall.

The walkway in front of the pub could be extended to meet the footpath through the garden. This was once raised at a Carshalton Society meeting but, despite this, accidents still happen and will continue until something is done.
