The redesign of the post office in Grove Road Sutton does not seem to make sense.

It is brilliant they now have three self-service terminals, which means it is much quicker to post letters or parcels because you can do it yourself. But the queue for the self-service terminals over-laps with the queue for the counters and results in a lot of confusion over where to go.

The redesign had squashed everything into a much smaller space, with the counter queue lined with tall and packed shelving snaking around most of the post office. With so many people rushing to post cards and parcels, it is crowded, perpetuated by the bad design.
