Dear readers, I have just recently moved to Streatham Vale and am loving it. The neighbours, well kept properties, local pub (The railway) and my home. Walking down Streatham High Road I ended up
having lunch in Purple and had the freshest, highest qualifty food I could have with a great buzzy atmosphere. Ok the High street could do with some more good restaurants and looks a little run
down, but give it a bit more time and we'll be there. And the Rookery!!! just lovely. After having some bad things said about Streatham before moving here a month ago, I have to say that I am
really happy here. Having pride in your surroundings and helping keep Streatham clean can only boost the local economy and make it not just great but fabulous!

Some voices in the media have been critical of the launch of websites such as seety.co.uk and the planned improvements to Google maps, which show 360 degree photos of almost every street in London.

  have achieved so much.
