I recently had a trip out with Epsom Coaches. Nothing has changed, lovely coaches clean, tidy, driver polite and courteous everything I remember from taking trips all those years ago. Highly recommend to anyone to go on a day trip with them.

Not the same can be said for the quality line 406/418 buses I use to commute to Kingston.  Buses are dirty, windows are caked in limescale, looks like the windows inside have never seen a cloth or polish for a while, seats are worn out, crumbs wedged between the seat back and seat cushions.

Even their new 2014 double deckers, which are nice and a comfy ride, quiet, the insides are appalling, the windows all smeared and dirty.

This great Epsom institution has prided itself on first class service for nearly 100 years so why the difference in quality? The same yard, the same cleaning equipment, the same personnel cleaning the vehicles.

So why not the same standards ? Has the company bitten off more than it can cope with?

The silver buses are clean, tidy and polite but the windows still dirty on the inside. Come on Epsom Coaches Group - put the same pride in your buses as you do your coaches fleet.
