Last Monday whilst in the Ashley centre car park I tripped over and in doing so I collided with my wife who was also thrown to the ground. The response from nearby passers-by was immediate.

The first was an off-duty nurse from the Marsden hospital, who tended to me.

The second, a blonde lady who assisted my wife.

A car park attendant rushed over and dialled 999. He then went and came back with a wheelchair for my wife to sit in and cushions for my head.

Having heard so much about public passing by on the other side I was so grateful to these people that I feel that I may not have thanked them properly and hope that you could do this for me.

I am ok but unfortunately my wife broke her hip and has had to have a replacement fitted.

Also many thanks to the ambulance service for their great help.
