It is said that you cannot please all of the people all of the time. However it appeared from Langley Vale residents who contacted me that the changes made to the E5 Bus route didn’t please anyone.
Many residents rely on the buses for routine journeys to and from schools or the station.
The new timetable was going to make some school journeys impractical.
So, Langley Vale Residents arranged a meeting.
I was pleased to chair it and to report that Epsom Coaches, who operate the service, attended and listened.
They have now revised parts of the timetable – starting on 1st September, in time for the start of the new school term.
Only time will tell whether the amended timetable will prove workable for the Langley Vale residents – but thank you to Epsom Coaches for being prepared to come and listen and to act.
One other thing that came out of the meeting was thanks expressed for the courtesy of our local bus drivers.
