Words cannot express the deep appreciation my wife and I felt when we arrived at Epsom A&E last Friday, August 7, my foot very swollen and discoloured having suffered a nail (panel pin) embedded in the toe.
The charming receptionist directed me to the highly professional triage nurse who referred me to the Ambulatory Unit where the effective and efficient treatment began.
Over the next four days the team of doctors and nurses undertook "out-patient" treatment in a totally calm, efficient and effective manner.
The effervescent dedication expressed in particular by Doctor Ong and Doctor Richard, filled the room with confidence and comfort to all patients, those accompanying them and the staff of the unit.
Epsom A& E is a credit to the NHS and the staff performance is dedicated public service at its very best.
We will continue to fight to keep our community hospital open. We need you.
Many thanks to you all.
