Residents that lives in the Ewell Court area have seen a huge increase in parking issues since the 'no parking on grass verges' and 'extended yellow lines' came in to force.

There certainly seems to be less spaces to park round the Pams Way, Elm Way and Court Farm Avenue area which is causing a lot of inconvenience when finding somewhere to park near our homes. Yet we still have to follow the local council rules!

The main issue is at school drop off/pick up times. These limitations seem to get totally ignored by parents/carers of schoolchildren that live out of the area.

The residential roads are not being regularly monitored by parking enforcement officers so all the time people can get away with it they will do it more.

This kind of makes a mockery of the whole thing.

If the council spends our money on parking restrictions they should monitor it more regularly or remove them. After recently telephoning the council I was informed that the council are on a limited amount of staff and therefore they are unable to follow up their own rules.

Joke!
