Teach them the history

It was moving to see so many people attend the service of remembrance in Isleworth on Sunday.

The crowds that gathered to pay their respects crossed all generations – so important given that this year is the 90th anniversary of the Armistice.

It is just a shame that so few young people today seem to know the history of the Great War, the terrible loss of lives.

Surely this should be a bigger part of the school curriculum?
