Foker's Movie Review ‘Changeling’ - Five stars
I had seen the trailers on TV for this movie and also read an article about the actual events that took place. However, I was not sure what to expect from Clint Eastwood’s screen adaptation. I can sum it up thus…Brilliant, emotional, powerful and somewhat disturbing.

QUANTUM OF SOLACE
I made a trip out to the Odeon Kingston on the opening night of ‘Quantum of Solace’ specifically to review this film. However, I think that most reviews are probably academic, as I noticed that the opening weekend broke all UK box office records.

Eastern Promises
This film sort of came and went without notice over here… but it’s a little gem. It was nominated for several awards and it brings together again David Cronenberg and Viggo Mortensen following their work on the brilliant History of Violence.

DVD review: No Country For Old Men
This is a film I really wanted to see. It was one of three DVD’s my son bought me for my birthday in August and I was just waiting for the right moment to watch it.

Foker's DVD Review: Superbad
If you haven’t seen ‘Superbad’ yet, you would be forgiven for thinking that this is an old 70’s Blaxsploitation movie.

The Mummy - Tomb of the Dragon Emperor
Now I must admit, I’m a huge fan of adventure films and I was looking forward to stretching out (because you do in these large West End preview cinemas!) and just letting myself get lost in the magic. Which is exactly what I did.

'Look Out For'
I was just looking at my last two reviews and I do seem to use the phrase ‘Look out for’ rather a lot. So, I’m thinking of introducing a FOKER’s ‘Look out for’ movie moment in my next reviews.

My next Movie review!!
Monday night I’m off to see a preview screening of ‘Wanted’. Look out for the review from Tuesday. I’ve sort of made my mind up from seeing the trailers (which is a big no no for any reviewer) but I intend to remain objective at the moment until I’ve sat down with me box of popcorn and watered down diet coke!

The Incredible Hulk
At last, it’s the Hulk movie that we’ve all been waiting for. It’s been five years since the Hulk was unleashed on the big screen by director Ang Lee and this version from Louis Leterrier (The Transporter, Transporter 2) is certainly new and improved.
