Nothing to laugh about...
Marcus Bean said Brighton’s winning goal against the Bees on Tuesday night at the Withdean Stadium was a comedy of errors but, for anyone connected with Brentford FC, there is precious little to laugh about at the moment.

On Saturday afternoon, I was sitting in Pisa airport waiting for my plane back to England after a week’s holiday, desperate to find out how Brentford were getting on in our opening match of the season against Carlisle United.
