Trick or Treat?

It's that time of the year again! Lots of sweets and naughty kids running around the area. Yes, it is Halloween 2017. A joyous day where many kids and teenagers usually celebrate , by knocking on people's doors for sweets.

Today, we decided to visit a local Charity in the city of Croydon, New Addington. As a journalist, I'm privileged to have the opportunity to converse about Halloween with the Leader of the Charity called 'Highly Favoured Ministry'. Minister Amoah, is my guest speaker today. As a strong religious man, he is delighted to share his perspectives on such event. As a father of four kids, he takes much delight in sharing his thoughts on festivals we often celebrate.

He believes this a crucial criteria every parent should follow as it is the tool to education as well as exercising a good relationship with family. "Halloween is a party I don't partake ", he proclaimed. Such comments was made on behalf of his doctrine. He strongly believes that such event shouldn't be participated in his family, because it is contrary to his Christian philosophy. However, he doesn't go against anyone who celebrate it."As for me and my household we don't like trick or treat", our speaker declared.he believes that such event it is a bizzare encounter.

It was a source of pleasure interacting with my guest. This is simply because such conversation educated me on the roots of Halloween. Additionally, allowed me to visualise things in a different way, instead of following the mass. "An Unexamined life is not worth living"Socrates(great Greek philosopher) said which he concluded the conversation with.

Lastly, some comments were made from another Christian in the same Charity, who believe that an opportunity to be rewarded with sweets should be grasped!
