Croydon Drama Festival- Rachel Wright, Carshalton High School For Girls
The Croydon drama festival is happening again this year and girls from Carshalton High School For Girls have been preparing themselves for their big performance. The drama festival is a time when students can show of their inner actors and actresses. It is an amazing oppertunity if you are looking to do acting as a future career.
This year it is not a competitive compertion but a fundraising event. I recently interviewed a student who is taking part in this years festival and this is what she's had to say:
"I have had lots of fun performing in the festival each year. I have done it two years running and I absolutly love it! It has defenitly improved my confidence and I can now feel comfortable performing to large crowds. "
This years is extra important as it is fundraising for the next years festival. The croydon festival is defenitly a good oppertunity and it also helps with students who are shy and need a boost to come out of their shell.
