Most people will have some form of technology they play video games on these days and with the ever expanding roster of devices, publishers, series and games available it’s no surprise that the like of PlayStation 4, X-Box  one and PC are becoming a more and more common way to pass free time. But to someone looking to begin to play newer games the market can seem very confusing.

First the consoles, these two iconic time passers are slightly more simple with different consoles mainly differing in the exclusives they offer, the more minute performances and the only multiplayer and membership system. The Play Station Four has been the most popular of the next generation consoles, selling millions of consoles and tons of games to go along and having more exclusives such as kingdom hearts. Despite this both games start at around £300 plus their monthly membership fee and the X-Box 1 also has its benefits such as being the more powerful console and having additions such as the x-box Kinect.

But onto the problem many people face when they are not going down the console root. What on earth makes a PC tick? Well you can circumvent this by either buying a laptop which is the simplest solution but most laptops will give you less processing power for more simplicity and agility. Another way is to buy a premade PC, these can be normal office PC’s or gaming ones but the price can range from about £200 to any crazy amount above it. What’s left is to build your own PC and by choosing all the individual components and combining them yourself will often get better value for money.
