It has been a tough season for London Scottish and club captain Mark Bright wants to put the season to bed once and for all against Moseley today.

London Scottish need a victory to ensure safety after a disappointing loss to Plymouth a fortnight ago.

They take on a Moseley side who are guaranteed Championship rugby next year and have already lost to Scottish three times this season. But Bright is not expecting any favours from the Birmingham outfit and said Scottish would have to be at their best to beat them.

“It will probably play on their minds more that we have beaten them three times already this season,” he said.

“They will be fired up and motivated to beat us and prevent us from getting that quadruple, but that is want we are trying to do.”

On the issue of Championship safety, the New Zealander said it would be great to avoid a potential last day clash with bottom side Esher.

“It would be a massive relief. You can get a bit on edge as the play-offs progress. We started off well but we lost to Plymouth and that was a little stressful.

“It is in our own hands though. We don’t have to rely on anybody else. We just have to go to Moseley and get the four points.

“There will be nerves, but we don’t want it to go to the last day. We don’t want to drag it out any longer.”
