Harlequins’ first team squad took a rather unusual tonic to help forget their loss to Toulon last week – bowls.
The squad travelled to Egham Bowls Club where they took part in some friendly competition to ease the pain of their Amlin Challenge Cup exit.
Quins boys paired up and went head-to-head for the title of the club’s bowls champions.
Will Skinner and centre Matt Hooper proved to be the best of the bunch as they clinched victory ahead of prop Mark Lambert and fly half Nick Evans.
Back rows Mo Fa’asavalu and Tom Guest, along with Joe Marler and Olly Kohn showed they were better suited to life away from the green.
