Head coach John Kingston has confirmed centre Jordan Turner-Hall is weeks, if not days away from a Quins return.
The 22-year-old, who made his first senior start for England against the Barbarians in the summer, has not featured since undergoing surgery on the shoulder injury he suffered against Saracens in September.
“Jordan is very close to playing again. He is back in full training and a is a matter of weeks away may be even days,” said Kingston.
“He has earned his right to be a first team starter and nearly got his first international cap last year. That is the level he can perform to and of course you are going to miss someone of his calibre.
“He is a bubbly character and great to have around the squad again, and we are very optimistic that we can expect Jordan back before the end of the month at the latest.”
Turner-Hall’s return will be tempered by the mid-term absence of prop Mark Lambert and Argentinean winger Gonzalo Camacho, who underwent surgery last week on a torn bicep and a persistent hamstring problem respectively.
“I don’t think we’ll be seeing much of them before March. They are losses, but that is the nature of the game,” added Kingston.
