Richmond's Gani enjoys captaincy call

Richmond footballer Gani Nuredini, right, will skipper his country for a second time when he leads the English Independent Schools Football Association U18s in a friendly with the Royal Navy later this month.

The Ardingly College 17-year-old, currently on trial at League Two Crawley Town, first captained in a 3-2 defeat to Australia Schools last month, having only made his debut for the team in a 5-3 win over the University of Leeds before Christmas.
