Weybridge golfer Jamie Elson carded a disastrous four over par second round to miss the half-way cut at the Abui Dhabi HSBC Golf Championships today.

The Burhill Golf Club star, who finished second at the Joburg Open earlier this month, had started the day on one under, but his second round saw him drop 50 places on the leaderboard to miss the cut by a shot.
