Earlsfield trio out for national boxing glory

Earlsfield Amateur Boxing Club will be after glory on three fronts at the national Amateur Boxing Association Elite finals this Friday.

Louis Adolphe, Kirk Garvey and Joe Joyce have all made it through the regional rounds and will be fighting for victory at York Hall in Bethnal Green.

Adolphe is the lightest of the three, fighting at 63.5kg, and will be competing against Knowlesy Vale’s Robbie Davis.

Garvey fights at 81kg and is against Peter Bebbington from Macclesfield, while Joyce is in the heaviest category, the 91kg and over category, against Frazer Clarke of Burton.

Only one other club, Wellington, has three fighters among the 26 competing.
