Women's golf at the palace
Addington Court Golf Centre is hosting a special women's open day on Saturday, May 17, in aid of Cancer Research UK's All Join Together Campaign.
Everyone from total beginners to experienced players are invited to the Croydon-based complex between 10am and 4pm to enjoy a host of free golf fun - with everyone encouraged to wear something pink to mark the occasion.
There will be a prize-winning beat the pro, putting and chipping competitions.
Crown Golf Academies' group academy manager Rob Spurrier said: "We are making great progress at breaking down the perceived barriers to golf that people often feel.
"Addington Court Golf Centre is a very welcoming environment and we want to encourage local women to take up golf and enjoy all the positive aspects of the sport."
