Boss Terry Brown is predicting a play-off place finish for his AFC Wimbledon side after finishing his summer signing spree.
Brown added striker Belal Aiteorakrim and goalscoring midfielder Elliott Godfrey to the Dons' ranks as they prepare for life in the Blue Square South.
And the AFC manager is confident his squad has the necessary depth to compete.
Brown said: "It is a nice position to be in.
"I have been given a little bit of time to get things right.
"We want to move forward as quickly as possible but you have to look at what we are trying to build here.
"The emphasis is very much on putting a young team together that can push for the play-offs."
And this is where Aiteorakrim and Godfrey come in, with both bringing plenty of goalscoring exploits to the table.
Aiteorakrim joins from Ryman Premier rivals Hendon, where he fired 27 goals in 60 starts over the last two seasons.
And Brown expects more of the same.
He added: "Belal has pace, he is decent on the ball and has a good touch.
"It is all about finding the right player to partner Jon Main up front and with Belal and Chris Sullivan we have good options."
Godfrey arrives from fellow Conference South outfit Hampton & Richmond, where he played a starring role in their rise through the leagues.
And the Dons boss is confident he can replicate that form at Kingsmeadow.
Brown said: "Elliott is ideal for how we are trying to play.
"He gives us that extra attacking option.
"22 goals from a striker would be excellent, so to get that from a midfielder is outstanding."
The Dons begin their pre-season training this week, with a meet the manager and kit launch evening planned for July 18.
