The first four and last five rounds of the Shepherd Neame Surrey Championship season are being played with a 50-over-a-side format for the first time and Wimbledon made the most of the new rules to beat Spencer by eight wickets at Church Road.

Having restricted the Earlsfield based side to 212-7 off their 50 overs, Wimbledon rattled off the runs with six overs to spare - Graham Grace hitting 105 not out and H Marambe 76 not out.
