West 4 Harriers’ Scott Mitchell made it two wins in two attempts in the 42nd running of the Richmond Park 5km time trial on Saturday morning, writes Mark Bass.

He clocked 17 minutes 22 seconds to finish 32 seconds ahead of Simon Harwood, with Trisport News Racing’s John Sadler a further 13 seconds behind in third.

There was a one-two-three for West 4 Harriers in the women’s race with Anna Critchlow recording her sixth win in eight attempts in 18 minutes 24 seconds.

That was more than three minutes clear of Alison Brownhill and Rachel Badman, who crossed the line together in second and third.

First junior was Alex Leslie in 19 minutes 23 seconds which made him 10th overall on his event debut.
