It may be what is usually called the close season but, at Hampton & Richmond Borough, the only grass growing under their feet is on the pitch.

Just days after announcing a new director in Brian Barwick, former chief executive of the FA, the Beavers have signed up a new shirt sponsor.

Hampton are delighted to announce that First Express Maintanence have agreed to come on board as the club's main sponsors.

Vice-chairman Steve O'Neill and John Wilson from First Express signed the two-year deal shortly before O'Neill's bike ride in Africa.

First Express's logo will now adorn the clubs shirts for the next two years.

First Express are a maintainence and drainage firm based in Twickenham and are a fast growing family business.

Accord Accountants have replaced Decorative Rooms as the sponsors for the back of Hampton's shirts, and the club would like to thank Chas Milner for his sponsorship.

The club have revealed their new home shirt for the next two seasons today, again supplied by Vandanel.

The shirt offers a slight retro feel, based on an early 90s style kit worn during the days of Timmy Holland, Malcome Dickenson and Brian Bere.

All the shirts this year are short sleeved, and cost £35 for adults and £25 for juniors.

However, season ticket holders can apply for exclusive discounts on their shirts this year.

The sky blue away shirt will be back for the coming season - they will also be available in short sleeved and only to order initially.
