Schoolchildren showed the England team how it should be done, beating a group of parents in a charity football match on June 27 in which they hope to have raised about £200.
Pupils aged between five and seven from Emberhurst School, Esher, and parents lined up to raise money for the Clic Sergeant children's cancer charity at Imber Court, in which the griup of mothers and fathers dressed up for the occasion.
Headteacher Pam Chadwick said: “The children can certainly play a lot better than the England team. It was an absolutely terrific day, lovely and hot, and everybody was great. We thought it would be a fun event for all and it was.”
