Crystal Palace have now gone nine Premier League games without a win after Saturday’s 2-1 defeat at home to Watford.

The Eagles last three-point haul came at Stoke City before Christmas, and since then they have only managed four goals.

However, one of those four came in Saturday’s defeat and marked the first in Palace colours for January loan signing Emanuel Adebayor.

Troy Deeney struck twice, either side of Adebayor’s equaliser on an afternoon when Palace also ended with 10 men after Pape Souare was sent off in injury time.

Eagles boss Alan Pardew said: “We know we are on a tricky run and these things go against you on these runs.

“We just have to focus now and get out of this run. The league form is a bit of a worry and we just have to put it right”

The Eagles have a break from league action on Sunday when they head to Tottenham Hotspur in the FA Cup.
