Sutton United return to action in the Skrill South tonight when they travel back out west to Bath City.
Despite the disappointment of the FA Cup defeat at Kidderminster Harriers last weekend, Paul Doswell’s men remain confident of promotion to the Skrill Premier.
Bath are unbeaten in four games, sitting in the middle of the Skrill South table, and they will be looking for revenge after United thrashed them 4-0 when they last visited the Mayday Trust Park in April.
Saturday’s man of the match Tom Lovelock said: “Bath will be a tough game, but we can beat anyone on our day and I am confident we will win promotion.
“We played most of the game against Eastleigh with only 10 men and we battered them, so we know what we’re capable of.”
Team-mate Anthony Riviere added: “We have a good team with good team spirit, we dig in together, we’re confident.
“We have had some good additions over the summer, Dos tries to better the team each and every season, and he's done exactly that again.
“At the same time we have players who have that little bit of experience, which is vital as the season goes on, they know how to win games.
“We’ve enjoyed our FA Cup run, but the league is our bread and butter.”
