An extra-time goal by skipper Sam Woods of Elmhurst School saw Croydon Schools’ seven-a-side team reach the south-east stage of the England Schools’ FA national boys’ competition.
It gave them a 1-0 win over Sutton Schools at Woking last Thursday.
