Sheringham lining up at Sutton?
Sutton United play their final Blue Square South match when they host Cambridge City at Gander Green lane this afternoon (3pm).
Although Cambridge are in mid-table, the threat of relegation hangs over them after their Milton Road ground was not awarded the necessary grading.
The three previous meetings as Sutton have yielded one win for each side plus a draw, and have generally been entertaining encounters.
Earlier this season, Sutton led for much of the game before conceding four goals in the last quarter of the game.
Cambridge's side could include Charlie Sheringham, son of former England striker Teddy, who scored a hat trick a fortnight ago against Weston-super-Mare, alongside 23-goal top scorer Michael Gash.
United will definitely be without Alan Bray, who is suspended following his sending off against Welling, a ban which will also take in the first two games of next season.
Sutton have endured a miserable season, finishing bottom of Blue Square South, but go into the match having collected four points from their last two matches.
