Carshalton Athletic may be nine games unbeaten but manager Paul Dipre thinks there is still more to come from his team.
The Robins drew 1-1 with second-placed AFC Hornchurch on Tuesday night to follow up Saturday's 1-1 draw with Leatherhead and moved into the top half of the table for the first time this season after a dodgy start to the campaign.
They take a break from league action on Saturday as they go to Malden & Tiptree in the FA Trophy and Dipre believes things can only get better for his boys.
"It is better but we are still woeful on some stuff and there are things we can do better," he said.
"Our defending is pretty good now but a lot of our build-up play is not good enough.
"We need to get more crosses in and more players into the box.
"We are at 60 per cent of where we should be."
