Kingstonian boss Alan Dowson has told his players to enjoy tonight’s end of season party because it may be the last time they feature at Kingsmeadow.

A Bobby Traynor double was not enough as Ks signed off a disappointing Ryman Premier League campaign with a 5-2 home defeat to East Thurrock United on Saturday.

Dowson will start from scratch this summer as he bids to mastermind a push for promotion next term.

“It wouldn’t be right to reveal who is leaving before the end of season party, but I’ll have an idea by next week,” he said.

“As far as I’m concerned everyone is out of contract and it is up to the players to prove – during pre-season – that they deserve to be here next season.

“There will be changes but I’ll not rush into anything because players become available right up until the start of the campaign.”
