Cup exit ends Chelsea's season

Chelsea Ladies' season is over after they were thrashed 4-0 by Everton in the first round of the inaugural Women’s Super League Continental Cup.

Having lost 3-1 to Everton in the league only a week before, Chelsea would have been intent on setting the record straight but succumbed to two goals either half of the break to slide out of the competition.
