Ex-head coach Lee Carsley might have left Brentford last week, but his influence is still being felt at Griffin Park.
The former Everton midfielder, who stepped in as interim head coahch in the wake of Marinus Dijkhuizen's sacking, officially quit the club last week, having completed the hand over process to new chief Dean Smith.
Carsley won the Championship manager of the month award during his brief spell in charge before Smith was confirmed as Dijkhuizen's permanent replacement last month.
The 41-year-old had said he would remain involved at the club until the end of December, but moved on ahead of time of his own accord.

Smith admitted Carsley was one of the reasons he left League One Walsall to take on the job at Griffin Park.
"It was Lee Carsley’s decision to leave now," said Smith.
"But he hasn’t completely left as he is scouting some games for me.
"He wants to do what’s best for the football club and help it. He was a massive reason why I came to the club."
