Moore puts Dons through in cup shock

Luke Moore sent AFC Wimbledon into the second round of the FA Cup last night as they shocked Scunthorpe United 1-0 at Glanford Park.

Moore was recalled to the side and was in the right place at the right time to convert when Jack Midson's shot was blocked in the 60th minute.

The Dons, who only made three changes to the side that drew with Swindon Town on Saturday, deserved their win but were fortunate to see Andy Barcham's late cross deflect on to the bar.

They go to League Two rivals Bradford City on December 3 knowing a win would put them in the third round for the first time in their short 10 year history.
