Veteran Italian Davide Baiocco could be set to join Crystal Palace.
Eagles manager George Burley refused to deny reports in the Italian press that the 35-year-old, who played on trial against Chelsea earlier this month, had agreed a switch to England.
"It's an option," he said after last night's goalless draw with Bromley.
"We have taken the last fortnight looking at options and who is going to be the best for us and he is a player who did impress us against Chelsea.
"I know he is 35 but he is a very clever player and I think the fans enjoyed him so it's something we are considering.
"We are working hard and fingers crossed we can get two or three new players in."
