Efforts fail as Palace v Bristol postponed

Crystal Palace's game with Bristol City tomorrow has been postponed.

Referee Kevin Wright visited Selhurst Park this afternoon and decided areas of the pitch were not playable.

There was also concern over the predicted temperatures set to hit the area during the game.

The club had brought in extra heaters and pitch covers in an effort to make sure the match was on but they were ultimately beaten by the big freeze which has claimed the majority of the weekend's sporting action.
