Chelsea, Manchester City and Crystal Palace players were among the top 10 tacklers in the Premier League last season.

Stats collated by the Daily Express place Palace’s Yohan Cabaye at seventh on the list having made 142 tackles over the course of the season.

The midfielder, who is currently in France preparing for Euro 2016, enjoyed a consistent season for the Eagles after making a summer switch from PSG.

Despite the 30-year-old’s impressive performances, Cabaye trailed title winner N’Golo Kante by 76 tackles.

The Leicester City star, 25, was one of the standout performers of the campaign and beat his nearest rival in the tackling department by more than 30.
