Boss Mark Warburton has called on the Griffin Park faithful to roar Brentford to the Premier League.

The Bees host Middlesbrough in the first leg of the Championship semi-final tonight.

The club are expecting a sell-out crowd and Warburton knows they can play a key part in delivering a first leg lead that could be decisive.

“Middlesbrough are a formidable opponent, well organised, with many talented players and well managed,” he said.

“They are a tough threat, but this is a tough place to come to – especially a night game under lights, with a passionate Bees crowd.

“So hopefully we create the right environment and deliver a performance “The Premier League is three games away. The most lucrative game in world football is two games away.”

Brentford will be at full strength for the clash and the manager has warned the visitors – who stayed at the Twickenham Marriot last night – leading scorer Andre Gray, left, has plenty more in the tank.

"People say he is looking tight, but he has scored 17 goals in the Championship coming out of the Conference,” he added.

“Unbelievable. He has led the line all season.

“He got another goal on Saturday and hopefully there will be a few more to come.”
