Kingstonian boss Tommy Williams will not mind Saturday’s 0-0 Ryman Premier League draw at Met Police, providing Ks win this weekend, writes Stuart Amos.

The clash of the weekend ended in stalemate at Imber Court to leave both sides adrift of the play-offs with seven matches remaining.

And Williams, whose side host Peacehaven & Telscombe on Saturday, admitted the time has come where only wins will do.

“It is a point and I think, looking at results elsewhere, it was probably a good point for us,” he said.

“Draws are not bad when you follow them with a win.

“Games are running out and we need to start picking up maximum points.”

Welling United loan striker Charlie Penny returned to the Conference Premier club last week and Ashford Town (Middx) striker Mark Bitmead has come in as his replacement.

“We are taking a punt on Mark because we cannot afford a proven striker at this level,” said Williams.
