Frank de Boer has held talks with Swansea about becoming their new manager.
The Dutchman has been out of work since his disastrous spell at Crystal Palace last year.
De Boer lost his first four league games in charge without his side scoring a single goal before his departure.
His replacement, Roy Hodgson, rescued the Eagles by guiding them to an 11th place finish last season.
And despite De Boer’s failed stints with Palace and Inter Milan, he is a candidate for the vacant Swansea post.
The Swans are preparing for life in the Championship and are looking for a new manager after Carlos Carvalhal’s exit. De Boer, Jaap Stam and Graham Potter are all on Swansea’s managerial shortlist.
