A middle order collapse saw Dulwich lose by seven wickets to Old Whitgiftians in Surrey Championship Division One on Saturday.

It was Dulwich’s first match back in the division after promotion last year but, having been put in to bat, they stuttered to 167 all out having lost four wickets for 18 runs at one point.

Only Chris Lester’s 55 spared them a worse score before Whitgiftians reached their target with ease.

Streatham & Marlborough are still waiting to begin their division four campaign after another abandonment.

Saturday: Spencer v Dulwich, Chipstead Coulsdon & Walcountians v Streatham & Marlborough.
