A lower order collapse cost Dulwich on Saturday as they fell to the foot of Surrey Championship division one.
At Spencer, they started well, reducing the hosts to 20-4 early on before eventually bowling them out for 168 with Mark Kelly and Tom Savill both recording figures of 3-50.
James Price led the charge in reply as he took Dulwich to 89-5 but, after he was dismissed for 47, they mounted little resistance – only Kelly (11) and Nick Storey (19) made it into double figures – and were all out for 113 for a 55-run defeat.
It leaves Dulwich with only one point – from an abandoned match – after three games this season.
In division four, Dan Ellis’s 52 helped Streatham & Marlborough to a tight three-wicket win over Chipstead Coulsdon & Walcountians.
Having bowled their hosts out for 192, Streatham only made their target on the penultimate ball in a thrilling finale to the match.
Streatham have no league game this Saturday but Dulwich host Cheam, who were relegated from the Premier Division last season.
