Wimbledon Golf Club’s Barry and Fanny King have reached the Matchplay Championship Grand Final in Dubai next month.
In glorious weather, they won a hotley contested mixed pairs event at the south regional final hosted by Marriott St Pierre in South Wales, They beat off thousands of competitors from across the UK and Ireland for the right to compete in the concluding event of the UK’s largest amateur golf tournament.
