Harlequins RL to get 2010 jump-start

Harlequins RL will get their 2010 Super League season underway on the weekend of 30/31 January, against as-yet unnamed opposition.

Quins will start their season a week ahead of 10 of the other sides in order to create a space in the calendar to enable them to face Melbourne Storm on February 21.

The full fixture list will be released next Wednesday, which will include the draw for the Murrayfield Magic weekend - set for May 1/2.

In Scotland the Londoners will face one of the five other teams that finished in the bottom six of the table in 2009, meaning Brian McDermott's men could come up against Bradford, Warrington, Hull, Salford or the Crusaders.
